I don't want to lie and pretend that I'm not interested in earning the award, but my primary intention is to get feedback from others and find ways to improve the personal experience.

HUGO Fragrances just announced the launch of a new creative challenge, HUGO Create. In 4 rounds, participants are challenged to turn the iconic HUGO Green bottle into something innovative, irreverent or otherwise exceptional.
Are you a designer, illustrator, photographer, artist, student or a creative person?
HUGO Fragrances invites emerging talents from all-over the world to participate in HUGO Create, a brand new creative contest.
The main aim of the HUGO Create challenge is to stir up creativity and to create a high-profile platform for emerging talents.
HUGO Create is open to graphic design, illustration and photography (still images only, no animated entries).
The prizes of the first round include 10 x 500 US-$ cash. The artwork of the round winner will be published in i-D Magazine.

Timeline & Themes
Round 1: February 5 – March 5, 2008. Theme: The Skyline Is The Limit.
Round 2: March 6 – May 5, 2008. Theme: Guaranteed Urban Thrills.

Round 4: July 6 – September 5, 2008: City Scapes & Fragments.
Theme Round 1: The skyline is the limit
For the first round of the HUGO Create contest, there is almost no limit to how far you can go. You can chose the technique(s) you enjoy the most: pixel, vector, photo, hand drawn, painted, … The urban skyline in your artwork can be inspired by an existing or imagined mega-city, metropolis or metropolitan area. The iconic HUGO Man bottle should play a central role in your urban story. The rest is up to you!

HUGO Create Generator
Create your own design with the help of the HUGO Create Generator. Everyone can be creative, even if you don’t have a technical background. Make your own custom illustration with the HUGO Generator design tool and win some amazing prizes. Fun & easy to do!
Surf to the http://www.hugocreate.com/ website & go to the Generator section. Select some of 1300 design elements and drag & drop them to your artwork. You can easily adapt the size and rotate the elements. Once you have finalized your design, you can save it on your computer, send it to your friends or enter your artwork to the HUGO Create design contest. Each round, there are 5 special prizes in the Generator category.
