I was doing a google saerch on what causes lesbianism and stumbled upon an essay about choice and biology. In my sister's family all 3 girls are bi or lesbian. I thought that was unusual for all of them too be gay, so started saerching for answers. Obviously there is no answer, but I at least want to find studies and patterns. Most people who conduct studies have an agenda so it's hard to find scientific facts.Our childhood and family beliefs were very similar to my sisters current family values. We grew up as practical atheists and lived by what ever rules best suited our own family needs.Later in life I became a Christian. I'll try to define that term as it applies to me because the term Christian has become very broad in meaning. I believe that God is real, He created the universe and everything in it and that we are subject to his law. I believe that the Bible is the word of God, and is absolutely true. I believe that God is holy and perfect, and there we are sinful, and need to be forgiven. The only way to be forgiven is by putting your faith in Christ. The consequence of sin is hell. The only way to heaven is to be forgiven by putting your faith in Christ. And I need to be honest here and tell you that I believe that homosexuality is a sin against God.So I am no different than my nieces. I also sinned against God and need a savior. The only difference is the nature of our sin. I had to give up what I thought was right for me in order to do what was right in according to God's will.I am responding here because you asked why I visited, but I also want you to know that true believers in Christ are commanded in the bible to love. God loved and forgave me, I also need to love and forgive others. I don't deserve forgiveness therefore I have no right to think that I should be loved more than any other group of people.I would greatly appreciate any thoughts you have or life stories of what led you to the conclusion that you are a lesbian. Real stories form real people would be most interesting to me.thanks for letting me post here,~Jay
