A code of ethics has been established by the online memorial charity MuchLoved in agreement with other leading tribute site organisations. This provides basic principles and guidance in relation to the creation of online memorials and in order to protect the bereaved and to ensure that they control the appearance and access to their memorial site. This is to help ensure that memorial websites are a helpful part of the grieving process and it is expected that all memorial service providers should work within and contribute to these guidelines. |
