We have a game that your visitors may find interesting.

http://www.staying-alive.org/me/game/index.html

It's a game commissioned by MTV to guide teens through young life's
sensitive issues. Entitled ME, the game has been produced with the
support of Y-Peer (the Youth Peer Education Network) and forms part an
overall on-line and on-air awareness campaign championed by the MTV
Staying Alive project.

The point and click adventure game is reminiscent of old-school classics
such as Lucas Art's Monkey Island series which captivated people decades
ago with their charm and wit. Despite its retro origins, the ME game
communicates with the user in a contemporary and positive manner, with a
look and feel that is highly stylised yet current for today's youth
audience. An Avatar creator allows players to recreate themselves in
this visual style for use in-game, reinforcing their connection with the
virtual world they are exploring.

ME is set across four locations, in which the players push the story
forward by solving puzzles, making decisions and participating in
exchanges with other characters they meet along the way. As they
progress, a virtual PDA collects further reading for them on the subject
matters they have encountered or tackled during the game, which they can
print to keep and read later.

Issues concerning sex and sexuality, sexually transmitted diseases,
drink and drug abuse, bullying and other social topics are covered
without being condescending or patronising, with humour and choice
playing a large part. The result ensures participation from the audience
which encourages them to play through to the end, maximising involvement
in the experience.

Let me know what you think!
