| Cake is a Singapore based contemporary theatre company committed to creating highly theatrical original works that address modern day concerns and complexities. In order to fully bring out the identity of Cake’s nostalgic, surreal and avant-garde productions, the style and the music were created with a locally distinctive flavour, making the link with Cake’s productions immediately recognisable and appreciated, especially amongst long-time fans. In addition, the concept was to let users not just view but also experience the all the intricate details of what makes Cake who they are. Thus, as users make their way through the many different and highly interactive sections, they are taken on a surrealistic journey that literally involves moving ‘deeper’ into the elaborate make up of Cake Theatre. |
